Qu'est-ce qu'un gloss à lèvres ?

Un gloss, ou brillant à lèvres, est un produit de maquillage à la texture liquide ou gélifiée, conçu pour apporter une finition très brillante aux lèvres. Il peut être transparent, teinté, ou pailleté. Son rôle principal est esthétique : il capte la lumière pour donner une illusion de volume et un aspect "juteux" et pulpeux à la bouche. De nombreuses formules modernes sont également enrichies en agents hydratants pour allier confort et beauté.

Quelle est la différence entre un brillant à lèvres et un baume à lèvres ?

La différence fondamentale est leur fonction première. Le baume à lèvres est un produit de soin, dont le but principal est d'hydrater, nourrir et protéger les lèvres du dessèchement. Le brillant à lèvres, lui, est un produit de maquillage. Son objectif premier est d'embellir en apportant de la couleur et, surtout, une brillance intense. Bien qu'un gloss puisse contenir des ingrédients hydratants, sa finalité reste cosmétique, tandis que celle du baume est traitante.

Comment bien se maquiller les lèvres ?

Pour un maquillage lèvres impeccable, commencez toujours par préparer vos lèvres en les gommant doucement et en les hydratant. Pour plus de définition et une meilleure tenue, dessinez leur contour avec un crayon à lèvres d'une teinte proche de votre gloss ou rouge à lèvres. Appliquez ensuite votre produit coloré en partant du cœur des lèvres et en étirant la matière vers les commissures. Pour un gloss, concentrez la matière au centre pour un maximum de volume.

Comment faire briller les lèvres ?

La méthode la plus simple et efficace pour obtenir des lèvres brillantes est d'utiliser un gloss brillant. Pour un effet "miroir" intense, choisissez une formule laquée ou un "vinyl ink". Si vous souhaitez ajouter une touche de fantaisie, un gloss pailleté sera parfait. Vous pouvez également appliquer un gloss transparent par-dessus n'importe quel rouge à lèvres mat ou satiné pour le transformer instantanément et lui donner une dimension lumineuse et glossy.

Comment appliquer le maquillage sur les lèvres ?

Pour une application parfaite, utilisez l'embout de votre produit. Commencez par l'arc de Cupidon de votre lèvre supérieure, en dessinant un "V", puis suivez le contour jusqu'aux coins externes. Remplissez ensuite l'intérieur de la lèvre. Pressez délicatement vos lèvres l'une contre l'autre pour transférer un peu de produit, puis terminez l'application sur la lèvre inférieure. Évitez de surcharger les coins pour un rendu plus net et sans bavure.
